What you will do
Setting up takes a few minutes, and most of it is one import that runs while you do something else.
The steps
Tell O what you want from your network. This shapes what it surfaces later, and you can change it any time.
Create your account with Google or with your email address.
Pick the plan that fits the size of your network, and check out.
Install the O extension, pin it to your toolbar, and open it.
Confirm your LinkedIn profile, click Connect LinkedIn, then open O.
Click Import connections, and leave your LinkedIn tab open while O brings your network across.
Then what
That is the whole setup. Your network is in O, and from there the useful part begins: asking it questions, writing the first notes, and letting the memory build as you work.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere you cannot see, and the import can be run again whenever your network grows.
